Our prices are calculated taking into consideration that we have invested in high-end deluxe, state of the art photographic equipment and our skilled attendants/troubleshooters have trained with the designers of the software that animates this equipment.

Since every event we produce is customized to your exact specifications and is branded for your special event, it is impossible to set one price or hourly rate that covers every contingency.

After expenses, we build in a reasonable profit margin and your itemized proposal, prepared with your participation and input, is offered to you with complete transparency detailing what you will get and exactly what it will cost.

As much as we would love to accommodate every budget and accept every negotiation, we must decline some clients. That said, if we cannot come to terms during our in-person consultation, we can refer you to colleagues whose services are more in line with your needs and budgetary limitations.

Aka, God is in the Deets

1. As soon as you are ready to book the date for your event, simply complete the initial contact form here. An initial invoice for a retainer will be returned to you immediately. Once you pay the non-refundable retainer of $250.00, your date is held for you. Eventually, the retainer will be applied to the total charge for your event.

2. Once you lock in your date by paying the initial retainer invoice, you will be contacted by The Philosophers Photobooth to set up an in-person meeting. You may elect to meet in the home studio where you can see the actual equipment we use or via Zoom, by telephone conference or in some other public place of your choosing. The purpose of this brief meeting is to co-design and customize your event and all the features you desire to include so there is no confusion about either what you need or what we are obligated to provide. The goal is to prepare together a formal, written proposal of everything that will define the event.

3. Once both the client and owner operator representative is satisfied with the proposal, it is revised into the form of a contract. The total charges for your event are then reduced by your prepaid retainer down payment ($250.00) and the remaining balance becomes payable in full no later than two weeks prior to your event.

4. Though optional, we always ask for a brief conversation to follow within one week of our event, to evaluate how things went and to discuss any formal reviews you wish to offer.
